Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about Qureveda Wellness — our products, ingredients, quality standards, shipping, and care.
What products do you offer?
Qureveda Wellness provides plant-based wellness products that fit modern lifestyles. Our range includes:
- USDA-certified organic powders — turmeric, ginger, moringa and beetroot — finely milled and suitable for cooking, smoothies and beverages.
- Herbal teas and instant latte mixes made with natural ingredients, without synthetic colours, chemicals or preservatives. Our lattes are sweetened with stevia, a plant-based sweetener.
- Pure steam-distilled essential oils presented in convenient sets. Each oil is 100% natural and free from synthetic fragrances or fillers.
Are Qureveda products organic?
All Qureveda herbal powders are certified organic by the USDA and meet the U.S. National Organic Program (NOP) standard. Our herbal teas and instant lattes are made from natural ingredients but are not currently certified organic — they contain no artificial colours, flavours or preservatives. Our essential oils are steam-distilled, pure and natural; they do not carry organic certification, as essential oils are not typically certified in Canada.
Do you add anything artificial?
No. Qureveda powders, teas and essential oils contain no synthetic additives or preservatives. Our instant lattes use stevia, a natural plant extract, as the sweetener instead of refined sugar or chemical sweeteners, keeping the flavour profile clean.
How do you ensure quality and safety?
Quality is central to our operations. Each batch is tested in-house for purity and overall quality using internationally recognised methods. Our herbal powders are USDA certified and comply with the U.S. National Organic Program (NOP). Our manufacturing facility is GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and ISO certified. All powders are vegan, plant-based, single-ingredient and non-GMO.
Herbal teas and instant latte mixes are not USDA certified but are made from natural, plant-based ingredients without synthetic flavours or preservatives, and are produced in the same GMP- and ISO-certified facility. Our essential oils are steam-distilled, chemical-free and 100% natural. Because essential oils are highly concentrated, they should be used cautiously (see the usage section below).
Are your products vegan and gluten-free?
Yes. Our powders, teas and essential oils are plant-based and naturally free from animal-derived ingredients. The powders and teas are inherently gluten-free. However, they are processed in facilities that also handle other botanical ingredients, so anyone with severe allergies should exercise caution.
How do I use your products?
- Herbal teas: steep one pyramid bag in 220–240 ml of hot water for 3–4 minutes. Adjust steep time for a stronger or lighter brew. Add honey or lemon to taste.
- Organic powders: start with ½–1 teaspoon and add to curries, soups, smoothies, baking or golden milk. Increase gradually to suit your taste.
- Instant latte mixes: follow the serving suggestion on the pouch. Mix the powder into hot or cold milk or a non-dairy beverage and stir. These mixes are sweetened with stevia.
- Essential oils: essential oils are highly concentrated. For external use only. Dilute a few drops in a carrier oil (such as jojoba or sweet almond oil) before topical use, and perform a patch test on a small area of skin first. For aromatherapy, add a few drops to a diffuser.
For external use only. Do not ingest. Dilute before topical use. Avoid contact with eyes. Keep out of reach of children and pets. Lemon oil may increase skin sensitivity to sunlight. Pregnant or nursing individuals and those with medical conditions should consult a healthcare professional before use.
How should I store your products?
Store powders in their resealable pouches in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, and reseal after each use to preserve freshness. Herbal teas and latte mixes are packed in caddy tins — close the tin tightly after each use to keep the contents fresh and free from moisture. Essential oils should be kept tightly closed in their original bottles, away from heat and light, and out of reach of children and pets.
What’s the shelf life?
Always check the best-before date printed on the package. As a general guideline: herbal powders, teas and latte mixes are best used within 24 months of the batch production date. Essential oils are best used within 36 months after opening; while pure essential oils do not have a strict expiry date, they can oxidise over time, so store them properly to maximise their lifespan.
Do you ship internationally?
We currently ship within Canada and to select international destinations. Shipping charges and delivery times are calculated at checkout. International customers are responsible for any import duties or taxes levied by their country.
Can I return or exchange a product?
Because our products are consumable, we can only accept returns on items that are defective, damaged, expired or incorrectly shipped, and we cannot accept returns of opened items. Please see our Returns & Refunds Policy for full details on conditions and how to start a return.
